[Salvaged] Vauxhall* shell sweetmeat dish, formed of three scallop shells joined at the centre by applied coloured shells, painted with oriental flowers in blue, yellow and puce with green leaves, and edged with yellow and puce dashes. C. 1751-64. * See General Note below.
