[Salvaged] One of a pair of Chelsea oval baskets with pierced sides, applied on the interior with puce-centred yellow florettes at the intersections and painted in the centres with flowers.

Provenance

Bequeathed to the National Trust in 1968 by Mrs Hannah Gubbay

Marks and inscriptions

Red anchor marks (but probably still gold anchor period c. 1758-65).
