Summary
A walnut easy chair with padded back, out scrolled bowed seat and squab cushion covered with early gros-point needlework in lozene pattern, blue and lozenge pattern, blue and reds on a mustard-yellow ground; short cabriole legs headed by scallop shells, pad feet. Back feet spliced; restorations (back rail replaced). Cushion much faded. The top cloth may be original. The embroidery repaired in some areas.
