Summary
Clock. 14-day French 'Regence' bracket clock in a boullework case by Boucheret, Paris, c.1760. The case with brass, tortoiseshell and painted horn veneers and ormolu mounts. Top with hooded arch centred with an ormolu mask and seated putto surmount. Chased gilt brass dial with white enamel hour plaques and blue Roman numerals. Enamelled plaque below dial, within ormolu cartouche, inscribed 'Boucheret A Paris'. As listed in the 1928 Inventory pg.107.
