Summary
Mantel clock. An eight-day Swedish neo-classical mantel clock in a painted and giltwood case in the form of a classical portico. Female figures stand between paired columns flanking a tripod flaming bowl, surmounted by vase finials above the entablature. The drum-shaped clock of about 1810 is by Gustav Michael Unden (1778-1829), Stockholm, and has a convex white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and inscribed 'Gustav Unden'.
