Summary
White china jug, pitcher-shaped with gilt edges, geometric yellow, black and gilt pattern on handle. Pheasant perched on branch of tree with pink blossom and orange buds. Pheasant blue, yellow, orange, white and black. Maker's mark on base WHIELDOM WARE in circular shape and markings Zn orange 7388 8. Also maker's mark of scroll with PHEASANT and SEMI-PORCELAIN inside underneath in black and wording F. WINKLE and CO. ENGLAND. Three bad chips on rim, one of which has cracked and been repaired with seven metal staples.
