Summary
An architectural drawing. James Paine the elder. Elevation of South Side of the Library, c.1752. Difference to #29, straight ending of the bookcases, no gothick arches. Pen and black ink, brown wash, endorsement in brown ink. Seems to be cut off out of complete plan, just to show the south side, all 4 borders are even and shorn.
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
