Summary
An architectural drawing. Design for wrought iron screen or gate. Monogram seems to be AW, either Ashe Windham or Admiral Windham. If it is Ashe Windham it could be a design for a gate closing the service wing on it's east side (see #17). On #67, the Donthorne drawing showing the link between old Court and Stables he indicates 'New Entrance. The old gate with WW to be placed here'. Pencil, some ink.
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
