A thin macaroni turned to his right in full dandy gear with sword. Drawn by H. Bunbury 1772, etched by Bretherton. Published 1772 by Bretherton, London. On the reverse, pencilled faintly 'Ketton Cremer label reads - Established int he Reign of King Goerge the Third. George Davis... Publisher and Picture Framer, ... Oxford'. Black frame, glazed.
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
