Pentelic marble sculpture, A Headless Lady (a Figure from an Athenian Grave Monument), Greek School, 4th century BC. A draped female figure, much damaged and without a head, seated on a chair wearing classical drapes and with her hands on her lap.
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
