Summary
A silver-plate stand for a biscuit barrel, English, second half 19th century. Open container with six feet, three beaded horizontal rails, and plain half-moon carrying handle. Marked 'EDS, EP, shield'. Stamped with maker's mark and 2732 on the underside.
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
