Summary
Gouache on paper, Ponte Salaria, an Antique Bridge near Rome, by G.B. Busiri (1698-1757). A bridge of single span over the Tiber, showing the stone revetments of the time of Narses, which were destroyed in 1789, road and figures in foreground.
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
