An oil painting on a panel of - A Street Scene with Gate Tower and Octagonal Church Tower in the manner of Jan van der Heyden (Gorinchem 1637 – Amsterdam 1712). It shows a street scene with a Flemish church which has an octagonal lantern in the background, with figures and animals in the foreground.
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969).
