Summary
A bronze sculpture. A statuette of Hercules with his Club and an Apple of the Hesperides, by the German School (?). A full-length statuette of Hercules holding an apple in his left hand and a club in his right hand. There is an animal pelt on his head and shoulders. The statuette is on a square marble base.
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969).
