Summary
A mahogany campaign secretaire chest of drawers, English, circa 1790 In two sections. The top drawer with a hinged front and enclosing a fitted interior of drawers and pigeon holes. With three further drawers below and with brass carrying handles to the sides and brass drawer handles. In poor condition
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
