Summary
Copper engraving, Coat of Arms of Horatio (Horace) Walpole, 4th Earl of Orford (1717-1797) by Charles Catton the elder, RA (Norwich 1728 – London 1798). Inscribed: Orford. Pencilled 'by C. Catton RA 1790. Walpole Arms - a heraldic pastiche. Supporters relaxed, hat of crest on backwards, the whole askew, feathers bedraggled. Motto is that of Horace Walpole, roughly translates - "Do as you Feel". Trimmed and mounted.
