Summary
Print, copper etching, Eques Cantab (after Henry William Bunbury) by James Bretherton (c.1730-1806). A man on horseback riding to the left towards Newmarket, with a sign behind him pointing to Newmarket and Cambridge, Cambridge seen in distance. Drawn by H. Bunbury, etched and published by J. Bretherton, 134 New Bond St, London 1772. Black frame, glazed.
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1909).
