Ale jug, soft-paste porcelain, painted with a trailing acorn band and a view in monochrome brown sepia of Felbrigg with a view of the front of Felbrigg from the lake, with a coach approaching. and inscribed ‘Felbrig, in Norfolk, the Seat of the Rt. Hon.ble Willm. Wyndham,’ ‘Flight & Barr, Worcester Manufacturer’s to their Majesties’, Flight & Barr, Worcester, c.1792-1804. Note: based on an engraving by H. Repton esq., del. and C. Walker sculp. of ‘Felbrig, in Norfolk, the Seat of the Rt. Honourable William Wyndham’, ‘Published as the Act directs, March 1 1787, by Harrison & Co., Paternoster Row, London’, from Picturesque Views of the Principal Seats of the Nobility and Gentry, in England and Wales.
