Summary
A pole screen, circa 1750, the adjustable mahogany framed screen with a watercolour drawing on parchment depicting birds by Lady Sarah Fetherstonhaugh (1722 - 1788), the tripod support carved in mahogany, terminated by claw and ball feet.
Provenance
by descent; given to the National Trust in 1954 with the house and some of its contents by Admiral the Hon. Sir Herbert Meade-Fetherstonhaugh.
