Summary
A mahogany architect's table, circa 1765, possibly by Thomas Chippendale, with a rectangular ratcheted top above a plain frieze opening with a single full length drawer fitted with a compartment, mounted with brass swan neck handles, on four chamfered straight legs and block feet, the angles with applied anthemions.
Provenance
by descent; given to the National Trust in 1954 with the house and some of its contents by Admiral the Hon. Sir Herbert Meade-Fetherstonhaugh.
