One of a pair of wine glass coolers (seau à verre), mounted up as vases; soft-paste porcelain, beau bleu ground with gilt arabesque motifs, round reserve painted with classical figures, altars and garden sculptures, scrollwork no marks visible, Sèvres, France, c. 1790-1800, mounted in good quality early 19th century ormolu mounts with porphyry bases.
