Summary

Part of wedding dress and accessories; Wedding dress slip - Ivory heavy silk with textured stripe pattern. Ribbon straps and wide cotton lace round top, waist and hem. 1928

Provenance

Donor - David E.W. Daldrey. Belonged to mother, Elsie Grimsey (1906-1974), who married Edward Daldrey (1902 -1970) in 1928 at Copdock, Suffolk. Edward was a herdsman, one of thirteen children, and Elsie worked in a market garden.
