Part of a man's bathing costume; Trunks - Two piece style, dark red knitted wool trunks wave texture, with cream strip at sides. Jersey loops at waist to take belt (donor supplied two); Metal 'Lightning' zip fastener at centre front zips cream wool top (for modesty), straps button-down onto back waistband with one plastic (bakelite?) button, marked 'Dainite'?. Label; 'English Make Reliable as Oak Meakers of Piccadilly' 'OSM'. 1930 (circa)
