Summary
Afternoon dress bodice - Shot brocade afternoon dress for young girl, figured in pink and blue with chemical lace and narrow black velvet trim. Bodice; high stand-up collar, ribbon decorated, hook and eye fastening at centre front. Bodice boned and lined in mauve cotton, pointed centre front and back. Chemical lace over bodice extending to collar and rectangular epaulettes. Sleeves quite full at armhole, cuffed with chemical lace. Label reads 'Copping and Co, 41 Ampthill Square, London,N.W'. 1893 (circa)
