Summary
A north European oyster-veneered table cabinet of rectangular form, the hinged cover inlaid with sycamore in an interlacing pattern of circles, above a frieze flap with gilt brass escutcheons, the interior later fitted and a later added plinth. Two nailed on hinges top lid. Drop down front conceals a drawer lid which covers a padded green silk lined compartment. Damage to lid side edge. Dates from late 17th century and later.
