Summary
Painted panel with Throckmorton arms, 18th century. Depicts the Arms of the Haseley branch of the Throckmorton family which are as follows: Left to right, first row: Gules on chevron argt, three bars gemelles sa (Throckmorton) Gules a fesse crenelle (Abberbury) Argent on a fesse crenelle between six crosslets fitchee gules, three crescents of the field (Olney) Sable a chevron arg. Between three crescents or (Spiney) Left to right second row: Argent on fesse crenelle, between six crosslets pate fitchee, gu, three plates. Gules, three bird bolts feathered ar (Bosum) Gules, a fesse or, between six pears or. (Besford) Crest: A falcon rising, ar, and belled or, charged on the breast with a crescent for difference.
