Summary
Oil painting on panel, Judith Tracey, Mrs Francis Throckmorton of Ullenhall. English School, circa 1570/80. A three-quarter-length portrait of the daughter of Richard Tracey of Stanway and Barbara Lucy of Charlecote. She was the wife of Francis Throckmorton of Ullenhall. She is wearing a black embroidered dress with white lace collarand blouse, ruff and cuffs, leaning her right arm on a cushion on a pedestal and her left hand at the sash round her waist. The coat of arms of Throckmorton impaling Tracy, top right and a green velvet curtain tied up on the lift.Circle of George Gower.
