Summary

One of a set of six walnut and cane chairs, French, mid-18th century. Each with a shaped, moulded back with carved top rail and lined with cane. The serpentine seat covered in later, faded velvet, and with shaped and carved front seat rail. The front legs cabriole and carved, the rear legs outswept.
