Summary
A walnut open armchair, English, mid-18th century and later. The back with shaped toprail above a pierced and scroll-edged baluster-shaped splat, between open arms raised on curved arm supports. The stuff-over seat upholstered in Hungarian point stitch in black and blue against a dun ground. Raised on chamfered square-section legs joined by an H-shaped stretcher and fitted with caps and castors.
