Summary
Baskets (pair), hard paste porcelain, undulating asymmetric rim, boat shaped body, standing on four feet moulded in the form of tendrils, which connect to two horizontal loop handles, Meissen, Germany, ca 1780; the sides moulded with rococo cartouches, bordered in gilt and pink enamel, with a polychrome floral spray at its centre, applied modelled flowers and leaves to the body, the feet and handles in green enamel, a slightly wavy border to the inner rime comprising a puce line with tendrils of green foliage winding around it.
