Summary
Corset - Made from fawn linen with the lining missing except for the linen tabs. It is heavily boned. All 9 seams are trimmed with decorative tape. There are pieces of chamois leather underarm. It is laced centre back with 9 eyelet holes. There are 6 hip tabs edged with leather. The remaining edges are trimmed with braid. The front is stiffened with a diamond shaped busk made of layers of canvas. There are 2 extra holes punched each side of the centre back. Cf.
