Summary
One of two stockings - Made from blue machine knitted silk with 6 bands of cream at the top. They are stitched at the heel and along the foot on both sides and across the toe. There is an embroidered clock in silk in cream/red/yellow of stylised flowers and leaves. They are possibly Spanish or central European. Cf. Nancy Bradfield 'Costume in Detail' Pg.6 (female)
