Summary
Wig stand made from black leather with brass studs attaching the leather to a wooden base. There is a door cut into the leather fastening with a brass hook. It has a wooden stand for clamping onto the table using a wooden screw. The uppermost section is attached to the stand with a piece of wood held in place with a wooden screw. There is a similar wig stand in the Museum of Costume, Bath 1720-1730.
