Summary
Cover; Cope made for a statue. Made from yellow watered silk with a yellow and brown design of flowering sprays. It has a pink glazed cotton lining and is trimmed with silk and gilt braid. There is a braid design forming 2 orphreys in the front and a hood shape at the back. Could have been made from a sack back dress. Possibly 18th century. (ecclesiastic garment)
