Summary
Frock coat made from green napped wool partly lined with grey taffeta with sleeves lined with white linen and stiffened canvas with linen sleeves. It is trimmed with braid (metal?) original around the edge of the collar and cuffs - now mising. It fastens with large flat basket weave silver plated brass buttons with Alpha shanks. The shank of the hip buttons come through seam to inside coat where they are held by a strip of linen. There are 2 pairs of bent steel hooks and eyes centre front at neck and chest. Cf.
