Summary
Riding jacket made from drab coloured worsted wool with a matching silk velvet collar and cuffs. The bodice and sleeves are lined with unbleached linen. The skirt and bodice facing is of shell pink silk taffeta. It is part interlined with canvas. There are 2 buttons on each cuff. It fastens with silver and pewter covered bone buttons with wide button holes worked in silver thread. There are buttons and button holes on each pocket flap (3) and hip buttons with 2 buttons on each side vent. It has been let out. Inside is 'Miss Botty' in 19th century script. (female)
