Summary
Waistcoat made from cream silk satin with a back of orange coloured wool twill. it is faced with cream silk twill and lined with cream fustian. The pockets are lined with orange wool twill and the flaps with twilled silk. It is quilted in a lozenge design (tamboured) in cream silk with silver bows of alternate intersections. The pocket flaps, lower surround and edes of the forepart are tamboured in a design of small daisies and silver sequins. It fastens with 12 cream silk buttons embroidered in silver thread with sequins in the centre of each quatrefoil. (male)
