Summary
Chair back cover - Coarse unbleached jute canvas. Back taken from a high-backed chair. Worked in thick untwisted silks and wool. Centre medallion of 2 men harvesting apples, worked over in thread in tent stitch; large bouquet of flowers and leaves worked over 2 threads in cross stitches. 29.5 inches (750mm) x 21.5 inches (546mm).
