Summary
Dress petticoat - Made of hydrangea pink silk taffeta, 455 mm (18 in) wide. Quilted in matching thread. Lined with stone white glazed wool 710 mm (28 in) wide. Interlining white fleece. 6 panels, pleated into a narrow silk waistband; knife pleats all round from narrow centre-front panel, pointing towards centre-back. Openings faced with matching silk ribbon. Quilted with alternating verticall bands of feathers and inverted swags and a 230 mm (9 in) border of feather patterns. 250 mm (10 in) side openings, tape fastening. (dress)
