Ring (1340742.1) is in a square, leather-covered box with metal hinges and clasp. Interior - base lined with green velvet and has slot for the ring; lid lined with white silk and printed with a crown and 'METCALF Jeweler & seal engraver 8 PALL MALL'.

Provenance

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
