Summary
Gold ring - engraved gold band. Exterior engraved with a decorative pattern. Interior engraved with 'E B Dec. 22 1836'. Inlaid purple oval stone with flower formed with metal and diamonds(?), and two diamonds flanking set into the band. Behind the stone, oval, glazed section containing green silk. Ring is in a square, leather-covered box with metal hinges and clasp. Interior - base lined with green velvet and has slot for the ring; lid lined with white silk and printed with a crown and 'METCALF Jeweler & seal engraver 8 PALL MALL'.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
