Summary

Bronze coin. The obverse shows a profile of a man wearing a crown surmounted by fleur de lis with embossed lettering below which reads, 'I SERVE'. Reverse shows a pineapple surrounded by embossed lettering which reads, 'BARBADOES PENNY 1788'. Previously asscociated with inventory number MSS.663.

Provenance

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
