Summary
Persian lacquer box, rounded sides, in two parts – sliding cover of papier maché, interior sleeve of leather. Painted red and gold ,highly stylised, the two parts the same. Persian motif to the front and back. Exterior showing 'L C' monogram in ivory coloured diamond shape. Gold, blue, green, red, and crimson colours.
