Summary
Wooden box panelled with bone and with hinged lid. Geometric design and pierced panels to the sides. The centre panel on the lid shows a hunting scene with a man and a woman on horseback with hounds and a stag. The whole is laid over a thin copper foil. The interior is painted pink and has five compartments. The compartments contain, thirty two plastic counters of various colours, six metal bells, a broken glass disc and four wooden items, including two miniature oars with a paper label handwritten in ink. Label reads, 'Early tries at Boat Making. C.P. Wade. Made at S. Andrews School. Eastbourne'. CPW Item number 500.
