Summary
Circular lacquered wooden box, with image on lid depicting two men, one whispering in ear of the other. Both figures wear eighteenth century coats and waistcoats, one with a staff in the crook of his arm. Inscription beneath reads: 'ON DIT'.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
