Summary
One of a collection of 12 Egyptian shawabti and amulets, consisting of four pairs and four odd ones. Small, protective amulet of Harpokrates (‘Horus the Child’), which has a loop on reverse. Late Period–Ptolemaic Period (664–30 BC).
Provenance
Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
