Summary
One of two sluice gates made of wood with solid gates.Attached to the gats is a vertical, square section metal rod with teeth on one side which engage with a cog wheel on a winding axle, complete with ratchet. Made by Charles Paget Wade for the Model Village (Wolf's Cove).

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
