Summary
Model ship. Miniature two deck sailing ship made entirely of boxwood including sails and rigging. Very fine prisoner-of-war work. Stands on elaborate carved carriage drawn by two lions on an octagonal wooden plinth with balustrades, some missing. All on a circular wooden base, glass dome covering with knob handle on top.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
