Summary
Wooden model trunk for the lugger 'John Silver'. Rectangular in shape painted dark green and black with red painted diamond symbols. Iron peg work nails form lettering to top which reads 'J. SILVER'. Written on short sides in white painted lettering 'No.5'. Four simulated leather straps. Two rope handles. Made by Charles Paget Wade for the Model Village (Wolf's Cove).

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
