Summary
Brass pear shaped letter scales with dial. Inscribed on body 'J COOKE and SONS MAKERS LONDON'. Outer dial quarter of circle, marked in pence – 0 to 4. With central pointer. Above that, a separate, pivoted arm with an annulus on a pivoting arm. Designed and patented by N.R.Hall in 1863.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
